Tom Snogles
Owner/Founder

Tom founded Sun Power Lawn Care in 2014. Starting at age 19 Tom worked for Test Valley Borough Council in Hampshire, England which fostered his thirst for horticultural knowledge. He then attended Sparsholt College, England, an agricultural college, for 4 years. He came to the USA in 2007 working for 7 years installing/maintaining landscapes in Gainesville, FL. When he’s not working, you can find him cycling the Hawthorne Trail, relaxing at Depot Park, or kayaking near one of North Florida’s unique springs.

Amanda McCauley
Office Administrator

Amanda joined the team in February 2020 and handles bookkeeping, sales, and collections as our office administrator. When she’s not at the desk, her green thumb is playing its part in growing fresh veggies, an assortment of plants, and stunning flowers. The garden is her favorite place to escape. She loves working her way through every recipe in the family cookbook and exploring the bounties of nature in all its beauty with her Miniature Dachshund.

Nick Hernandez
Team Lead

Nick started as a crew member with Sun Power Lawn Care in the fall of 2023 and rose instantly to team leader for showing great initiative. Nick appreciates the fact that working with Sun Power Lawn Care allows him to interact and help customers on a daily basis. He enjoys getting to know their individual lawn maintenance needs. When he isn’t at work, Nick enjoys visiting one of the many springs in and around Gainesville, working on home projects, and hanging out with his family.
