One of the most important ways to help your grass thrive is to cut it on a regular schedule. Routine mowing not only makes your property look great, it also keeps your grass healthy for the long-term.

Video Transcript: How often should you mow your grass?
Hi, I’m Tom Snogles with Sun Power Lawn Care, and today we’re answering the question: how often should I cut my grass?
Here at Sun Power Lawn Care, we like to cut weekly. Because, one, the grass always looks fantastic! When you pull into your driveway, look around, you feel at ease. Looks great.
Number two is if you leave the grass to get very long, it creates clumps when you cut it, which kills the grass underneath. Terrible. Not a very good lawn.
Number three is that if the grass is long and you cut it, it stresses it out, which means it’s susceptible to bugs and diseases.
I hope this helps you in looking after your lawn and landscape. Once again, I’m Tom Snogles with Sun Power Lawn Care, where we mow grass but don’t use gas.
